Description
E71T-11 is a self-shielded flux-cored wire used for welding carbon steels. It does not require shielding gas and can be used in limited multi-pass welding operations.
To use flux when soldering, you must first apply it to the surface you are going to solder. Then, you can proceed to solder normally using solder wire. The flux will evaporate during the soldering process, leaving a clean surface ready for the solder to adhere.
Flux assists in soldering and desoldering processes by removing oxide films that form on the surface of the metals being joined. For gasless welding. (No shielding gas required for welding)
