UTP A 34 WIRE (ER CuAl-A1) 1.20 MM X 15 KG

UTP A34 Wire

Description

UTP A 34N is used for joining aluminum-bronze alloys with high Mn (manganese) content, as well as for steel and cast steel. Due to its excellent resistance to seawater and corrosion, this alloy is ideally suited for the shipbuilding industry (propellers, pumps, and armatures) and the chemical industry (valves, pumps, etc.), primarily for applications subjected to chemical attacks combined with erosion. Thanks to its favorable friction coefficient, it is suitable for surfacing sliding faces, bearings, and dies of all types.

Characteristics

UTP A 34 N is excellent for pulse welding applications. The weld deposit possesses outstanding mechanical properties and is highly crack-resistant. It offers very good chip removal during machining, is corrosion-resistant, and non-magnetic.

Welding Instructions

Clean the welding area thoroughly (to a metallic bright finish). Pre-heat large workpieces to approximately 150 °C, maintaining this temperature between passes.
