Stainless electrode for dissimilar joints and clad steels
Kiswel KST-309L (AWS E309L-16) is a low-carbon stainless electrode designed to join carbon steel to stainless steel and to weld clad steels and 22% Cr - 12% Ni steels. In 3.25 mm, the most versatile diameter, it performs well for fill passes and medium thicknesses.
Key advantages
- Dissimilar joints: joins carbon steel to stainless steel.
- Clad steels: suited to welding stainless-clad steels.
- Low carbon: 309L-type stainless deposit.
- AC or DC: works with transformers and inverters.
- Certified quality: ABS and CWB.
Applications
- Joints between carbon steel and stainless steel.
- Clad steels.
- 22% Cr - 12% Ni stainless steels.
- Heat-resistant castings.
