Moisture-resistant low hydrogen with a smooth arc
Lincoln Electric Excalibur® 7018 MR® (AWS E7018 H4R) is a low-hydrogen electrode with a moisture-resistant coating. Its smooth arc, low spatter and easy slag removal leave great-looking beads on structures and pressure piping. In 4.00 mm it delivers a higher deposition rate for fill and cap passes on medium and heavy sections.

Technician's tip: Lincoln's MR coating resists moisture pickup, but it is still a low-hydrogen electrode: once the can is open, keep it in a holding oven and avoid leaving it exposed during the shift.
