ELECTRODO EXCALIBUR 8018-C3 Ø 2.5MM X 22.7 KG

1% Ni low-alloy electrode, suitable for sour gas

Lincoln Electric Excalibur® 8018-C3 MR® (AWS E8018-C3 H4R) is a 1% nickel low-hydrogen electrode. It delivers a strong deposit that stays tough at -40 °C, ideal for pipeline repair, gas storage tanks and weathering steels. In 2.50 mm it is ideal for root passes and thin sections, with good puddle control.

Key advantages

  • 1% Ni alloyed: up to 620 MPa tensile strength.
  • Low-temperature toughness: up to 159 J Charpy impact at -40 °C.
  • Sour gas service: pipeline and gas tank repair.
  • MR coating: resists moisture pickup.
  • Certified quality: ABS, TÜV and CWB approvals.

Applications

  • Repair of cross-country oil and gas pipelines.
