Low-carbon stainless electrode for 304L, with a high deposition rate
Kiswel KST-308L (AWS E308L-16) is a lime-titania stainless electrode for low-carbon 18% Cr - 8% Ni steels such as AISI 304L. Its high deposition rate delivers excellent welding efficiency. In 3.25 mm, the most versatile diameter, it performs well for fill passes and medium thicknesses.

Technician's tip: clean water, rust and oil from the bevel before welding; preheat is generally not required. If the electrodes picked up moisture, Kiswel recommends re-drying at 300 - 350 °C for 60 minutes.
