Neat beads and easy striking for everyday work
Kiswel KR-3000 (AWS E6013) is a high-titania rutile electrode for carbon steel, made in Korea and approved by the leading marine classification societies. It strikes and restrikes easily, holds a stable arc and leaves neat, undercut-free beads with easy-to-remove slag. In 2.50 mm it is ideal for thin sheet, light fabrication and light-duty work.
Key advantages
- Easy striking and restriking: stable arc from the first touch.
- Excellent bead finish: no undercut and easy slag removal.
- All positions: flat, vertical and overhead.
- AC or DC: works with transformers and inverters.
- Certified quality: ABS, BV, CWB, DNV, GL, KR, LR and NK.
Applications
- Light carbon steel construction.
- Metalwork, fabrication and general maintenance.
- Pipe welding.
- Jobs where a clean bead finish matters.

Technician's tip: even as a rutile electrode, keep it in a dry place. If it picked up moisture, Kiswel recommends re-drying at 70 - 100 °C for 30 to 60 minutes before welding: a damp electrode causes more spatter and porosity.
