Description
Rutile-basic coated electrode with extra-low carbon content. Excellent slag removal and superior bead appearance. Designed for welding 18-8 type austenitic stainless steels with low and extra-low carbon content (L and ELC series), as well as AISI 304L and 308L, DIN X2 Cr Ni 18 9, ASTM A182 Gr F 304L, A351 Gr CF3, CF3A, and similar grades. Suitable for welding AISI 430 ferritic stainless steels to each other or to AISI 2XX and 3XX series steels. Also used for joining standard carbon 18-8 stainless steels, provided the slightly lower strength of the weld metal is not a constraint.
