UTP 630 E 307-26 ELECTRODE Ø 4.00 - 5 KG BOX

UTP 630 Electrode

Description

UTP 630 is primarily recommended for tough, crack-resistant, and wear-resistant joints in work-hardened manganese steels, as well as for joining high-alloy steels with medium and low-alloy steels. These types of applications are mainly found in construction machinery and equipment.

Characteristics

UTP 630 is easy to weld, and the slag is easily removed. The weld deposit work-hardens and is resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and heat up to 850 °C. It features a high deposition rate (efficiency) of 160%.

Welding Instructions

Hold the electrode in a vertical position relative to the workpiece. Use low amperage, especially when welding work-hardened manganese steels. Use only dry electrodes. If electrodes have become damp due to environmental exposure, they must be redried at a temperature between 250 and 300 °C for 2 to 3 hours.
