UTP 68H ELECTRODE (E310-16) Ø 3.25 MM X 5KG

UTP 68H Electrode

Description

UTP 68 H offers excellent weldability in all positions, except for vertical down. It features a stable arc, providing a deposit free of spatter or undercutting, and results in a smooth bead surface.

Application Field

UTP 68 H is recommended for joining Cr-Ni, Cr-Si, and Cr-Al steels, among others, which are resistant to operating temperatures up to 1200 °C in environments with low sulfur gas content. Additionally, it can be applied to heat-resistant steel castings, making it ideal for the construction of furnaces, pipelines, and general fittings. A very specialized application for the UTP 68 H electrode is the welding of low-alloy cast steels.

Welding Instructions

Clean the area to be welded, ensuring it is perfectly degreased. Use dry electrodes and weld with a short arc. Deposit beads in a straight line or with a slight weaving motion. Do not overheat the beads. Electrodes that have become damp due to environmental exposure must be dried at a temperature between 250 and 300 °C for 2 to 3 hours.
