UTP E6013 Electrode
Description
The UTP 6013 electrode features excellent arc restriking, allowing for welding at relatively low amperages on thin materials. It performs well even with low open-circuit voltage power sources (AC or DC). It produces smooth beads with a clean appearance and shallow penetration.
Application Range
UTP 6013 is recommended for welding thin sheets (from 20 gauge upwards), as well as flat bars, plates, and tubular profiles for ironwork. It is also ideal for structural sections (PTR), hoppers, tanks, containers, vehicle bodies, and metal furniture.
Welding Instructions
Clean the area to be welded. Maintain the electrode slightly inclined in the direction of travel with a short arc. The slag is easily removed and must be cleared between passes.
