Description
UTP A 3422 is used for copper-aluminum alloys with Ni and Fe additions. It is suitable for weld cladding on cast iron and steel materials, as well as for dissimilar joints of steel and aluminum bronze. The UTP A 3422 weld metal is resistant to seawater and cavitation. It exhibits excellent performance under simultaneous stresses caused by seawater, cavitation, and erosion.
Welding Instructions
The weld seam area must be machined to a metallic bright finish by grinding, blasting, or pickling to prevent crack formation or the development of pores.
