Description
TubRod 71 is a rutile flux-cored wire designed for use with 100% CO2 shielding gas. Metal transfer is smooth, producing uniform and spatter-free weld beads. It is suitable for out-of-position and multi-pass welding of low and medium-alloy carbon steels. It features self-releasing slag that is very easy to remove, resulting in a weld metal free of inclusions and porosity. Used in the shipbuilding industry, boiler fabrication, structural steelwork, etc.
