Hook and Loop Disc PS 33 CK

Description

Specially designed for use on random orbital sanders, the Klingspor PS 33 CK abrasive disc features a self-fastening system. With its reliable hook and loop backing, the disc can be easily mounted by simply pressing it onto the sander's backing pad. Thanks to full-surface attachment, the abrasive disc remains smooth and firmly in place. Due to its characteristics, this abrasive product is the right choice for sanding paint, varnish, wood, and filler.

Klingspor offers these abrasive papers in various diameters and hole patterns, making them compatible with all standard sanders. Unpunched abrasive discs are also available for universal use. Note that when using unpunched abrasive papers, dust extraction is not possible.

Klingspor PS 33 CK abrasive papers feature aluminum oxide grains in a semi-open coat distribution. Synthetic aluminum oxide stands out for its hardness and toughness, ensuring a high removal rate and a long service life.
Aluminum oxide grains have irregular shapes ranging from wedges to blocks. Thanks to their crystalline structure, aluminum oxide abrasives deliver efficient results.
The semi-open grain distribution is ideal for working on wood, paint, and varnish surfaces. This configuration provides sufficient space between grains for the removal of sanding debris and dust, preventing clogging and extending service life.
Klingspor uses a paper backing (C-weight paper) for the PS 33 CK abrasive disc. This medium-weight paper can be easily cut, torn, and folded.
For hard-to-reach areas where the random orbital sander cannot fit, the abrasive paper can also be folded or torn for manual sanding.
The aluminum oxide grains are bonded to the paper backing using synthetic resin and finished with a synthetic resin topcoat. This topcoat gives the abrasive paper its color and provides additional support against lateral forces during sanding.
When sanding begins, the synthetic resin layer covering the grain wears away automatically, ensuring no loss in sanding performance.
