The HF 100 A burr features a cylindrical shape, making it ideal for machining surfaces of cast iron, structural steel, high-temperature resistant materials, as well as non-ferrous metals; it is manufactured without end teeth.

Achieving ideal milling results depends on multiple parameters. For this reason, the number and shape of the teeth, as well as the concentricity, helix angle, and rake angle, should be perfectly matched to one another. The universal serration, known as Cut 2, is the standard cut for general applications. It impresses with its good finishing properties. Carbide burrs equipped with the Cut 6 double cut guarantee high stock removal; furthermore, the lower chip formation prevents premature clogging of the burr, thus ensuring rapid material removal. The special geometry of the cut prevents premature clogging of the burr.
Klingspor carbide burrs are manufactured from high-quality materials. Additionally, they are subject to strict quality control. In a 100% inspection, the welding joints and the concentricity of the burrs are checked to ensure a long service life and, above all, product safety. Another important requirement for workplace safety is adhering to maximum speeds. The permitted speed decreases as the diameter of the burr head increases.
