Description

The Klingspor HF 100 L cone-shaped rotary burr with round nose is an ideal solution for hard-to-reach areas. Thanks to its different cuts and sizes, this carbide burr is suitable for a wide variety of applications and materials, such as structural steel, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature resistant materials (e.g., chrome steel), cast iron, and plastic.

Highlights

The burr features a cone shape with a round nose to flexibly reach even difficult-to-access areas. The different cuts ensure optimal application results. The combination of carbide, geometry, and cut, along with a long service life, delivers an optimal and cost-effective stock and material removal rate. In addition to the standard cut (Cut 2), Klingspor offers the HF 100 L carbide burr in various versions to provide optimal results for every machining operation. Before delivery, each burr undergoes a strict control check, during which material quality, dimensional accuracy, and the flawless execution of the weld joints are tested. This guarantees a very long service life and maximum application safety.

The HF 100 L model is available in various head diameters and is suitable for deburring, contour machining, chamfering, and rounding, as well as smoothing weld seams or modifying workpiece geometries, even in hard-to-reach areas. The maximum permissible speed varies depending on the head diameter and the material being machined. Operation in the medium speed range is recommended. This ensures precise milling results and extends the tool life. To prevent premature wear and the risk of accidents, the carbide burr should only be used with backlash-free clamping systems and drives.
