The type of cut also varies. The HF 100 M carbide burr is available with both standard and double cut. Good finishing properties are achieved with the standard cut (Cut 2). These burrs are exceptionally useful for general applications. Carbide burrs with double cut (Cut 6) offer more professional handling. They produce smaller chips and additionally operate with very low vibrations.
