Plasma Cutter 120HF
Description
The PLASMA 120HF Cutter is an inverter-technology plasma cutting power source. It features a built-in air regulator and pressure gauge. The unit operates on a 380V input, delivering a 100% duty cycle at maximum capacity with an output of 120A.
The equipment utilizes High-Frequency (HF) ignition. Please note that if cutting does not commence within 5 seconds, the arc will automatically shut off.
The unit must be connected to a compressed air line that is free of moisture and oil. The air supply must ensure a minimum and constant pressure between 0.3 and 0.6 MPa. The unit will not operate if consumables are incorrectly installed, and the cut quality is directly dependent on their condition.
Operating Principle: Plasma is a gas heated to an extremely high temperature until it becomes ionized and electrically conductive. This cutting process uses plasma to transfer an electric arc to the metal workpiece. The arc melts a small portion of the workpiece, and compressed air blows away the molten metal; in other words, it is a fusion cutting process.
A single compressed air source is used for the plasma gas as well as for cooling and shielding.
