Rogue ES 245i

Description

Unprecedented performance—the Rogue ES 245i joins ESAB's global line of inverter welding machines. A new platform featuring enhanced control, performance, and construction.

Ready for industrial applications with electrodes up to 4.0 mm, including cellulosic types, it offers an ideal duty cycle. It is also suitable for light welding and thin sheets, ensuring a stable arc at low currents and a smooth ignition.

Don't settle for the basics—choose the new Rogue ES 245i.

Highlights

  • Excellent weldability with all types of electrodes up to 4.00 mm, including E6010/E6011 cellulosics and E7018, featuring easy ignition and a stable, smooth arc.
  • TIG welding with high-performance LiftArc technology and great stability. Smooth ignition, ideal for thin sheets.
  • HotStart—facilitates arc striking and prevents the electrode from sticking to the workpiece.
  • ArcForce—features automatic adjustment that maintains arc stability during welding.
  • Control panel with high-brightness digital display that allows reading even from a long distance, along with easy-to-use buttons, even when wearing welding gloves.
  • Single-phase 220V power supply and excellent performance with generators.
  • Electrode holder and work clamp with 3-meter-long, 100% copper cables.
  • Tested and approved under the most demanding international quality standards: impact, drop, duty cycle, endurance, and extreme temperature resistance tests, ensuring a longer service life for the equipment.
  • Panels manufactured with special impact-resistant and flame-retardant composites.
  • Ergonomic and heavy-duty handle providing greater mobility, comfort, and safety.
  • Pulsed Stick (MMA) welding improves control of the weld pool and solidification, and reduces material distortion by minimizing heat input.
  • Current pulses allow partial solidification between each pulse. To configure it, peak current, pulse frequency, and base current must be defined. The frequency ranges from 0.2–100 Hz in MMA mode and 0.2–500 Hz in TIG mode.
