Description
These wheels have permanently changed the way of working in the metalworking industry. Constructed with a highly durable abrasive that is resistant to sharp edges, corners, and burrs, they operate very quickly, quietly, and free of vibrations and bouncing (comfortable for the operator). They are safe, feature extremely low heat generation, and do not transfer contaminants to the processed surface; in fact, they are approved for use in the nuclear industry.
They replace fiber discs, sanding discs, and flap discs with great cost-benefit ratio advantages, and vastly outperform them in terms of surface finish quality.
Available for ø115 mm and ø178 mm angle grinders. They do not require plastic backing pads since the abrasive is supported by a fiberglass-reinforced phenolic backing.
They satisfy a massive range of industrial needs. For example: removal of sheet metal bending marks; removal of parting line flashes (burrs) from molds and small defects on non-ferrous metal parts; removal of burrs from drilling or sheet metal cut with lasers, pantographs, guillotines, jigsaws, etc.; mechanical descaling of hot-rolled steel sheet; bevel preparation on high-pressure pipes (polishing of ends before welding); and removal of marks on stamped sheet metal parts (in automotive parts: hoods, fenders, etc.).
