205iP Welder

Description

Robust and durable with unprecedented performance, the Rogue ET 205iP features exceptional arc characteristics, whether in HF TIG, LiftTIG, or MMA (stick) mode. Ready for any job anywhere, this machine is designed to withstand the toughest conditions while always delivering a perfect result.

All the features required for top-quality DC TIG welding and finishing are packed into this compact, heavy-duty machine, tested under the most severe conditions: gas pre-flow and post-flow, start current, upslope and downslope, end current, and 2T/4T trigger modes.

Additionally, the ROGUE features a pulsing function with a frequency ranging from 0.2 Hz to 500 Hz for precise heat input control. In stick mode, the operator can configure HotStart and ArcForce independently, as well as select a specific setting for E6010/6011 cellulosic electrodes (Pipeweld line). All of this is adjusted through a simple and intuitive control panel.

Highlights

  • Excellent High Frequency (HF) arc striking ensures no misfires or contamination of the workpiece or tungsten, delivering superior, smooth, and stable arc characteristics.
  • Pulsing up to 500 Hz for unmatched control over heat input. Perfect for welding very thin stainless steel sheets.
  • Easy to use – Simple and intuitive parameter configuration, even for advanced functions.
  • Advanced TIG Controls – Full control over the weld from start to finish to achieve the best results in any application.
  • Robust Design with IP23S rating – developed for both workshop and field applications, featuring special impact- and flame-resistant composite materials.
  • Ready to use – TIG torch with current control on the handle, ground clamp, gas hose, and a starter kit of consumables are included.
  • Pulsed Stick (MMA) Welding – Improves puddle control and solidification while reducing material distortion by minimizing heat input. Current pulses allow for partial solidification. To configure it, peak current, pulse frequency, and base current must be defined. Frequency ranges from 0.2 - 100 Hz in MMA mode and 0.2 - 500 Hz in TIG mode.
