Description
Dynamic Dynamics 9-8227 Gouging Tip C. A simple metal removal method by tilting the torch at a 35–45 degree lead angle and using a gouging tip. Maintaining a constant standoff distance allows only partial penetration into the workpiece, thereby removing metal from the surface. Current, travel speed, standoff distance, lead angle, and tip size will determine the amount of material removed and the gouge profile. You can use the shield cup body with either the shield gouge or the shield deflector. The one-piece Shield Cup can also be used.
