Description
UTP A 73 G3 is used on parts subject to friction, compression, and impact at high temperatures, such as: hot-cutting blades, shears, forging dies, hammers, aluminum casting molds, and for the production of hot or cold work tools on low-alloy base materials.
Characteristics
Machining is possible using tungsten carbide tools.
Welding Instructions
Completely remove any cracks from previously deposited material. Preheat the base material to a temperature of 400 °C; this temperature must be maintained for tools. Stress relief annealing is recommended at 550 °C.
