Description
ERCuSi-A (Silicon Bronze) filler rods are copper alloys containing 3% silicon, which provides fluidity to the deposited material, designed for TIG welding. They are primarily used for joining copper, brass, steel, cast iron, and, most notably, galvanized steel sheet metal.
Characteristics
- Common applications: Manufacturing of metal furniture, cabinets, ductwork, and automotive bodies.
- Advantages: Excellent corrosion resistance, good fluidity, and high tensile strength.
- Shielding gas: Pure Argon gas is used.
