Description
Weld 308L alloy features good general corrosion resistance. Its low carbon content makes it particularly recommended for applications with a risk of intergranular corrosion. It is widely used in the chemical and food processing industries, as well as for pipes, tubes, and boilers. It is suitable for joining 18% Cr - 8% Ni stainless steels with low carbon content, and niobium-stabilized steels of the same type, provided that the service temperature does not exceed 350°C.
