Hook and Loop Disc PS 33 CK

Description

Specially designed for use on random orbital sanders, the Klingspor PS 33 CK abrasive disc features a hook and loop self-fastening system. With its reliable hook and loop backing, the disc can easily be mounted by pressing it firmly onto the machine's sanding pad. Thanks to full-surface adhesion, the abrasive disc remains smooth and secure during use. Its characteristics make this abrasive product the ideal choice for sanding paint, varnish, wood, and filler.

Klingspor offers abrasive papers in various diameters and hole patterns, making them compatible with all standard sanders. Unpunched abrasive discs are also available for universal use. When using unpunched papers, dust extraction is not possible.

Highlights

Klingspor PS 33 CK abrasive papers are coated with aluminum oxide grains in a semi-open coat. Synthetic aluminum oxide is distinguished by its hardness and toughness, ensuring a high removal rate and long service life.
The aluminum oxide grains have irregular shapes ranging from blocky to wedge-like. Thanks to their crystalline properties, aluminum oxide abrasives deliver highly efficient results.
The semi-open grain distribution is ideal for working on wood, paint, and varnish surfaces. This spacing leaves sufficient clearance between grains for efficient removal of sanding debris and dust, preventing clogging and extending overall service life.
Klingspor uses C-weight paper as the backing for the PS 33 CK abrasive disc. This medium-weight paper can be easily cut, torn, or folded.
To reach areas inaccessible to a random orbital sander, the abrasive paper can also be folded or torn for manual sanding.
The aluminum oxide grains are bonded to the paper backing with synthetic resin and finished with a synthetic resin topcoat. This final coat gives the paper its color and provides additional support against lateral forces during sanding.
When sanding begins, the top layer of synthetic resin covering the grain wears off automatically, ensuring it does not impair sanding performance.
