Hook and Loop Disc PS 33 CK

Description

Specially designed for use on a random orbital sander, the Klingspor PS 33 CK abrasive disc features a hook-and-loop self-fastening system. With its reliable hook-and-loop backing, the disc can be easily mounted by pressing it onto the machine's sanding pad. Thanks to the full-surface attachment, the abrasive disc remains flat and securely in place. Due to its characteristics, this abrasive product is the right choice for sanding work on paint, varnish, wood, and filler.

Klingspor offers these abrasive papers in various diameters and hole patterns, making them compatible with all standard sanders. Additionally, unpunched abrasive discs are universally usable. When using unpunched abrasive paper, dust extraction is not possible.

Highlights

  • Klingspor PS 33 CK abrasive papers feature aluminum oxide grains with a semi-open coating. Synthetic aluminum oxide stands out for its hardness and toughness. As a result, this abrasive disc ensures a high removal rate and a long service life.
  • Aluminum oxide grains have irregular shapes ranging from wedges to blocks. Thanks to their crystalline properties, aluminum oxide abrasive products provide efficient results.
  • The semi-open grain distribution is ideal for processing wood, paint, and varnish surfaces. With this distribution, the spaces between grains are large enough to allow for the clearance of sanding debris and dust. Consequently, waste does not clog between the grains, helping to extend service life.
  • As a backing for the PS 33 CK abrasive disc, Klingspor uses paper backing (C-weight paper). This is a medium-weight paper that can be easily cut, torn, and folded.
  • To work on hard-to-reach areas with the random orbital sander, the abrasive paper can also be folded or torn to allow for hand sanding.
  • The aluminum oxide grains are bonded to the paper backing using synthetic resin and provided with a synthetic resin topcoat. This finishing coat gives the abrasive paper its color and serves as additional support against lateral forces acting on the grain during sanding.
  • When starting the sanding process, the layer of synthetic resin covering the grain wears away automatically, ensuring it does not hinder sanding performance.
