PS 33 CK Hook and Loop Disc

Description

Specially designed for use on random orbital sanders, the Klingspor PS 33 CK abrasive disc features a hook and loop self-fastening system. With its reliable hook and loop backing, the disc easily mounts onto the machine's sanding pad with simple pressure. Thanks to full-surface attachment, the abrasive disc remains flat and secure. Due to its characteristics, this abrasive product is the ideal choice for sanding paint, lacquer, wood, and filler.

Klingspor offers abrasive paper in various diameters and hole patterns, making it compatible with all standard sanders. Additionally, unpunched abrasive discs are universally usable. Note that when using unpunched abrasive papers, dust extraction is not possible.

Klingspor PS 33 CK abrasive papers feature aluminum oxide grains in a semi-open coat distribution. Synthetic aluminum oxide stands out for its hardness and toughness, ensuring a high removal rate and long service life.
Aluminum oxide grains have irregular shapes ranging from wedges to blocks. Thanks to their crystalline properties, aluminum oxide abrasives provide highly efficient results.
The semi-open coat distribution is ideal for working on wood, paint, and lacquer surfaces. This spacing leaves sufficient clearance between grains for sanding debris and dust clearance, preventing clogging and extending overall service life.
Klingspor uses C-weight paper as the backing for the PS 33 CK disc. This semi-heavy paper is easily cut, torn, and folded.
For hard-to-reach areas where the orbital sander cannot fit, the abrasive paper can also be folded or torn for manual sanding.
The aluminum oxide grains are bonded to the paper backing using synthetic resin and topped with a synthetic resin coat. This topcoat gives the abrasive paper its color and provides additional support against lateral forces during sanding.
When sanding begins, the initial layer of synthetic resin covering the grain wears off automatically, ensuring optimal sanding performance from the start.
