HF 100 B Carbide Bur
Description
The HF 100 B bur features end cut geometry for specialized tasks, making it ideal for machining blind holes and the end faces of internal contours. This carbide bur can be used on various materials, such as structural steel, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature resistant materials, and cast iron.
Highlights
The cylindrical-shaped bur can be used with different cuts for finishing or deburring workpieces. The additional end cut enables precise machining of end faces.
Burs in different dimensions and various cuts
The appropriate cuts and the exact size deliver the best results depending on the workpiece material and geometry. For this reason, the HF 100 B carbide bur is available in different versions; size and cut can be combined according to the application. The chosen cut is also applied to the end face of the cylindrical bur. In addition to the standard cut (Cut 2) with its good finishing properties, other types of cuts can also be supplied, featuring a high material removal rate (Cut 6), a reduced tendency to clog (Cut 3), or designed for machining stainless steel (Cut 11). Before delivery, every Klingspor carbide bur undergoes a 100% final inspection. Dimensional accuracy, perfect execution of the cut, and the weld points are thoroughly checked. This guarantees a long service life and a high degree of safety during application.
Optimal speed range for precise results
The chosen speed is crucial for achieving high material removal and a long service life. The optimal speed varies depending on the bur head diameter and the material to be machined. Operation in the medium speed range is recommended to extend the service life of the carbide bur. A speed that is too low can cause unstable running and tooth breakage. As a general rule: the larger the head diameter, the lower the speed. To achieve perfect results and maximum safety, the bur should be clamped to a length of at least 25 mm.
