Carbide Burrs HF 100 B

Description

The HF 100 B burr is equipped with end cut geometry for special tasks, making it ideal for machining blind holes and end faces of inner contours. This tungsten carbide burr can be used on a variety of materials, such as structural steel, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature resistant materials, and cast iron.

Highlights

This cylindrical-shaped burr is available with different cut types ("Cuts") for finishing or deburring workpieces. The additional end cut allows for precise machining of end faces.

The right cut and exact size provide the best results depending on the workpiece material and geometry. For this reason, the HF 100 B tungsten carbide burr is available in different versions; the size and cut can be combined to match the application. The chosen cut is also applied to the end face of the cylindrical burr, offering a high stock removal rate (Cut 6). Before delivery, every single Klingspor carbide burr undergoes a 100% final inspection. Dimensional accuracy, flawless cut execution, and weld joints are thoroughly checked. This ensures a long service life and a high degree of operational safety.

Optimal RPM Range for Precise Results

The chosen speed is crucial for achieving high material removal and a long service life. The optimal speed varies depending on the burr head diameter and the material being machined. Operating within the medium RPM range is recommended to extend the service life of the carbide burr. A speed that is too low can cause unstable running and tooth breakage. As a general rule: the larger the head diameter, the lower the speed. To achieve perfect results and maximum safety, the burr should be chucked with a clamping length of at least 25 mm.
