The HF 100 A burr has a cylindrical shape, making it ideal for machining surfaces of cast iron, structural steel, high-temperature resistant materials, as well as non-ferrous metals. It is manufactured without end cut.

Achieving ideal milling results depends on multiple parameters. For this reason, the number and shape of the teeth, as well as concentricity, helix angle, and rake angle, should be perfectly matched to one another. The universal cut, known as Cut 2, is the standard cut for general applications. It delivers convincing performance with its good finishing properties. Carbide burrs equipped with the Cut 6 double cut guarantee high material removal rates; furthermore, reduced chip formation prevents premature clogging of the burr, thus ensuring rapid material removal. The special geometry of the cut prevents premature clogging of the burr.

In a 100% inspection, the weld joints and concentricity of the burrs are tested to ensure a long service life and, above all, product safety. Another important requirement for workplace safety is adhering to the maximum speeds. The permissible speed decreases as the burr head diameter increases.
