PU40 Polyurethane Sealant
Description
PU40 is a high-performance single-component adhesive developed for the civil construction, architecture, and decoration sectors. It is considered a multi-purpose adhesive because it bonds exceptionally well to various types of materials, such as concrete, stone, wood, marble, ceramic, glass, aluminum, metal alloys, among others. It features excellent resistance to atmospheric conditions such as rain, wind, and UV rays.
Instructions for Use and Handling:
- Application surfaces must be clean (cleaned with alcohol or acetone), dry, and firm. Do not use kerosene or gasoline to clean the surfaces.
- Cut the tip of the cartridge and cut the applicator nozzle at a 45° angle to the desired size and thickness. Screw the applicator nozzle onto the cartridge and place it into the caulking gun.
- Apply the adhesive in beads.
- During bonding, we recommend using clamps or hooks to prevent any movement of the piece being glued.
- For heavy pieces, use temporary support (adhesive tape, shims, etc.) until the adhesive cures completely.
- Full curing occurs after 24 to 48 hours, depending on weather conditions, the amount of adhesive used, and the weight of the items being fixed.
