Description

The HF 100 B carbide bur is equipped with end cut geometry for special tasks, making it ideal for machining blind holes and the end faces of internal contours. This carbide bur can be used on various materials, such as structural steel, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature resistant materials, and cast iron.

The cylindrical-shaped bur can be used with different cuts for finishing or deburring workpieces. The additional end cut allows for precise machining of end faces.

Appropriate cuts and the exact size provide the best results depending on the workpiece material and geometry. For this reason, the HF 100 B carbide bur is available in different versions; the size and cut can be combined according to the application. The chosen cut is also applied to the end face of the cylindrical bur and features a high stock removal rate (Cut 6). Before delivery, every Klingspor carbide bur undergoes a 100% final inspection. Dimensional accuracy, perfect cut execution, and weld points are checked. This guarantees a long service life and a high degree of operational safety.

Optimal Speed Range for Precise Results

The chosen speed is crucial for achieving high material removal and a long service life. The optimal speed varies depending on the burr head diameter and the material to be machined. Operation within the medium speed range is recommended to extend the service life of the carbide bur. A speed that is too low can cause unstable running and tooth breakage. As a general rule: the larger the head diameter, the lower the speed. To achieve perfect results and maximum safety, the bur should be clamped along a length of at least 25 mm.
