Cylindrical Burr with End Cut

Description

The HF 100 B burr is equipped with an end cut, making it ideal for machining blind holes and the end surfaces of internal contours. This carbide burr can be used on various materials, such as structural steel, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature resistant materials, and cast iron.

The cylindrical-shaped burr is available with different cuts for finishing or deburring workpieces. The additional end cut allows for precise machining of end surfaces.

Highlights

  • It is available in different versions; the size and cut can be combined according to the application.
  • The chosen cut is also applied to the end of the cylindrical burr. In addition to the standard cut (Cut 2) with its good finishing properties, other types of cuts can also be supplied, such as those with a high stock removal rate (Cut 6), with a reduced tendency to clog (Cut 3), or for machining stainless steel (Cut 11).
  • Before delivery, every Klingspor carbide burr undergoes a 100% final inspection. Dimensional accuracy, flawless execution of the teeth, and the welded joints are all thoroughly tested. This guarantees a long service life and a high degree of safety during application.
  • The chosen speed is key to achieving high material removal and a long service life. The optimal speed varies depending on the burr head diameter and the material to be machined. Operating within the medium RPM range is recommended to extend the service life of the carbide burr. Too low a speed can cause unstable running and tooth breakage.
  • As a general rule: the larger the head diameter, the lower the speed. To achieve perfect results and maximum safety, the burr should be chucked for a length of at least 25 mm.
