The HF 100 A bur has a cylindrical shape, making it ideal for machining surfaces of cast iron, structural steel, high-temperature resistant materials, as well as non-ferrous metals. It is manufactured without end cut.

Achieving ideal milling results depends on multiple parameters. For this reason, the number and shape of the teeth, as well as the concentricity, helix angle, and rake angle, should be perfectly matched to one another. The universal cut, known as Cut 2, is the standard cut for general applications. It impresses with its good finishing properties.
Carbide burs equipped with the Cut 6 cross-cut guarantee high material removal; furthermore, the smaller chip formation prevents premature clogging of the bur, thus ensuring fast material removal. The special geometry of the cut prevents premature clogging of the bur.
