UTP Plus 35 Gel
Description
UTP PLUS 35 GEL is recommended for treating weld joints on stainless steels where discoloration occurs after the welding process. Its primary field of application is the stainless steel equipment industry for the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical segments. Generally, discoloration removal can be achieved quickly within 40 to 60 minutes. Due to the rapid reaction of UTP PLUS 35 GEL, stainless steels with high molybdenum (Mo) content may require additional application time, approximately 20 to 30 minutes more.

Safety and Precautions
- Must be handled using protective equipment such as rubber gloves, boots, and aprons, as well as a face mask with a "chlorine-type" filter, as nitrous gases are emitted during the pickling process.
- Perform work in open and well-ventilated environments.
- In case of skin contact, wash affected areas with running water and detergent.
- In case of eye contact, seek medical attention and inform the physician that the product contains nitric and hydrofluoric acids.
- We recommend the use of gloves, eye protection, and respiratory protection.
Application
UTP PLUS 35 GEL should be applied with a brush or plastic roller on surfaces at room temperature and never under direct sunlight. Residue removal should be done with low-pressure water and a stainless steel brush.
The reaction time for this type of product is not fixed; it depends on variables such as ambient temperature, base material, cleanliness level, and the desired pickling finish. It is also recommended to shake or mix the product before use to eliminate possible phase separation if the product has been on the shelf for a long time.
