Description
The Klingspor FS 966 ACT vulcanized fibre disc is suitable even for heavy-duty applications. It is used for sanding stainless steel and is distinguished by high aggressiveness, a long service life, and its microcrystalline self-sharpening effect.
Additionally, it features a multibond coating that prevents heat discoloration. These vulcanized fibre discs are available in numerous sizes and grit sizes.

- The abrasive grain is applied with a closed coat, covering virtually the entire surface. This closed coat further extends service life and ensures perfect results when sanding stainless steel.
- Another special feature of this disc is the unbeatable grain adhesion achieved through the synthetic resin top coat. Compared to natural bonds, it offers higher bonding strength and is additionally characterized by exceptionally high resistance.
- Cool grinding is guaranteed on the FS 966 ACT vulcanized fibre disc thanks to the multibond system. With this type of bond, an extra coating is applied to the abrasive product. This reduces temperatures at the grain tips as well as chip adhesion from the workpiece. Consequently, it prevents heat-induced discoloration when sanding stainless steel, extends service life, and reduces abrasive consumption.
