- Satin finishing is a process that creates an even finer finish than standard sanding. It produces a matte or satin-gloss surface that reveals very fine structures, known as satin lines. This aesthetic effect is particularly popular in furniture construction and interior architecture.

Especially on stainless steel, but also on other metals and even plastics, this finishing wheel delivers surprising performance and ensures an attractive result.
- The construction of the NCW 600 S model combines non-woven flaps and abrasive cloth flaps, arranged alternately in a radial pattern around a synthetic resin core. Aluminum oxide is used as the abrasive grain.
- The design of the non-woven wheel ensures that fresh grain is continuously exposed during use. This high-quality product features a long service life, extraordinarily economical wear characteristics, and excellent cost-effectiveness.
- When the NCW 600 S is operated at its optimal maximum working speed of 19 m/s, centrifugal force straightens the flaps. Bending remains negligible, even under high contact pressure.
- To achieve a perfect result, the ratio between the rotation speed of the satin finishing machine and the diameter of the wheel is crucial. When working at a fixed speed, choose a Klingspor wheel with the appropriate diameter. If variable speed control is available, adjust the speed to match the wheel.
