Highlights

Satin finishing is a process that creates an even finer finish than standard sanding. It produces a matte or satin-gloss surface that reveals very fine structures, known as satin lines. This aesthetic effect is especially utilized in furniture manufacturing and interior architecture. In this field, the non-woven web mop wheel impresses not only with its excellent finishing capabilities but also with effective material removal. Especially on stainless steel, but also on other metals and even plastics, this finishing wheel delivers surprising performance and ensures an attractive result.
The design of the NCW 600 S model combines non-woven web flaps and abrasive cloth flaps, arranged alternately in a radial pattern around a synthetic resin core. Aluminum oxide is used as the abrasive grain. The design of the non-woven wheel ensures that you are always sanding with fresh grit. This quality product is characterized by a long service life, exceptionally economical wear behavior, and consequently, excellent cost-effectiveness.
If the NCW 600 S model is used at its optimal maximum operating speed of 19 m/s, the centrifugal force straightens its flaps. As a result, flexing is negligible, even under high clamping pressure. To achieve a perfect result, the ratio between the rotational speed of the satin finishing machine and the diameter of the non-woven wheel is crucial. When working at a fixed speed, the Klingspor wheel of the appropriate diameter must be selected. If speed control is available, it must be adjusted to match the wheel.
